birthday celebrations

My birthday was back in March (better late than never) and I celebrated by squeeeeeezing a group of amazing friends in our apartment! I was excited to spend it drinking sangria, toasting with yum strawberry jello shots and dancing into the wee hours of the morning!

And even though the rain kept us indoors, it kept everyone's wet shoes out-- in the hallway! I thought it was especially funny everyone took their shoes off before coming in! (they all know me too well-- or have really really good manners)! 

Can't even begin to explain what a blast my birthday night was!  Can't wait to do it again for Lola's birthday! :)

Oh-- and I thought it'd be kinda-sorta fun to do something a little different...

happy friday!

it is absolutely gorgeous* outside-- and has been this entire week!
just another reason why I loooove living in california (I love saying that too)

james' birthday* was feb 19 and I figured what a great way to end the week with a little par-tay post!

sunday morning we finished the weekend with a trip to wine country!

The weekend was an absolute* blast! We had an awesome time with all our friends. 

I didn't take pictures of any of the food, but pretty much made all the appetizers that I planned and they turned out really delicious*! I love having our friends over!

yay for friday! 

I plan on spending lots & lots of time outside this weekend!! happy weekend!
