exhale

Whew!

Time is flying by... Most days I have to look at the calendar just to remember it is May! (then I realize it's almost June and I don't know where all the time has gone!)

The last few weekends have super busy and it continues this weekend. I'm off to San Fran for the holiday and I'm really excited!! (esp because the forecast is calling for warm, sunny weather!)

As I mentioned in a previous post, my little sister (I know, she's not little) was in town!! I feel bad that I am such an old lady but I am happy to say she kinda is too! ;) I was hoping not to have to pretend I was 21 again and drink like a college student. We were in bed before midnight and up by 8am!

I absolutely loved having her here. I feel like every time we get to spend some one on one time together I learn more about her! She truly is one of my best friends! :) I haaate that she had to leave!! (and even worse she had to spend a majority of her trip home stuck in the airport and on the plane with delays)

Sunday was Lola's 1st birthday.... and I tortured the poor thing with bows and a birthday dress. However, she was spoiled and got to have birthday cake and ice cream!!

She is actually coming on the plane with me to San Francisco. She loves car rides and has made the trip via car from Vegas to DC and many times from DC to Ohio. I just worry about her ears popping (do they?? I have to google that!) and what do you do for it! (Any tips from anyone who've traveled with their pups would be much appreciated!!).

Definitely spent an hour in Petco looking at carriers (I wanted the $100 one, of course!) but knew that is was not practical and went with the JetBlue carrier!

I'm excited to have her in the city with me! There are so many great dog parks. Better yet, SF is a super pet friendly city!

I've been really good with taking pictures and will post some after my holiday trip!

So you may see an absence on my end again (I always make time in the morning with my tea to read my  blogs, I just get behind on my actual posts!) :)

Hope everyone has some fun Memorial weekend plans!! :)

ox lovelies!

I am in love with Lola. I want a pup just like her (although The Hubs is pushing for a big, burly dog)!

Have fun in SF - and take lots of pictures! :)

Aww! I love Lola's dress! A friend of mine from teacher's college is about to start house-sitting for a couple with two little dogs (a Jack Russell and Jack Russell x Pug)...and I'm think I might have to put some bows on them for entertainment value! :P
