4th recap

Hiiiii pretties!

I am beyond* excited that it is Friday. I can't even explain.
(so I'll let Montell Jordan handle that one for me....)

This week has been super awesome because who doesn't love a 4 day work week? But I've had my fair share of crazy to deal with. Woooosaaaa. I'd rather not drag on about all that and just get to the fun stuff. :)

*

Everyone have a fantastic 4th??
I sure did* :)
James was back in town and we got to spend tons of time together and with friends and getting stuff done for our... dare I say.... move.
I can't believe how quickly it has come. Official date is still TBD, but it is most definitely going to be before the end of July.

For the 4th we headed with our newly married friends to the Nationals game. Oh.my.gosh. was it freaking hott. Ugh.  Luckily we got seats in the shade and drank lots of blue moon* to keep cool. oh yaayer. :)

(Please excuse any amount of ugliness and frizz that which is portrayed in my pictures, it was hott, humid and I promised pictures.. and I'm delivering!)

After the 9th inning we high-tailed it out of the heat stadium.... And because hotdogs, fries, popcorn and cotton candy were not* enough. We ventured to Chinatown for even more* food and blue moons. :)

Since it was my first and last 4th I'd spend in DC went headed into the masses to the National Mall. We plobbed down and waited for the fireworks to start.

Some of us passed out took naps. hahah
zzzz

No worries they woke up right when fireworks started!

Fireworks went off for about 30 minutes and they were some of the best* fireworks I've ever seen! Afterwards we walked with the masses in the street and headed to The Willard (which is such a gorgeous hotel) to use the restroom and somehow got caught up in the lobby having drinks, political talk, planning a trip to Mexico for NYE and seeing Jimmy Smits (I had no clue who he was, but James bumped into him, literally and they sat across from us) until 1:00am.

Such a fun* day with friends!! loves!

And I even took some pictures (most of which will never be shared again because of the humidity, frizz and all around ugliness).
