Somehow a song tends to find it's way into my blog.
Similar to when I watch movies, I wait for the title of the movie to be said. Do you ever do that?

I have been loving* the beautiful. hot. sunny. weather we have been having.
Saturday, I spent my morning at the pool frying. I finished reading Last Night at Chateau Marmont by Lauren Weisberger. and moved on to (an actual hardcover book, gasp! I've already read) Certain Girl by Jennifer Weiner (During the summer, it isn't rare if I go through a book in 2 days)
So my weekend got really* awesome at about 4:30 when I heard water running. (I thought someone was in my apartment.. because when I take Lola out I leave my door unlocked and I really thought someone was going to the bathroom. crazy. I know. Oh, and paranoid too I guess. ha.ha)
Nope, no one using the bathroom. Just water streaming -- from the vent. down the walls. through the window. --awe.some*
pro: I move out end of July
con: I do not have a mattress to sleep on from now until then.
Sunday was pretty much a repeat of Sunday + I made some really yummy food for lunch and dunner. And I may have watched a Lifetime movie on demand.

I've had an ultra* busy Monday.
I am excited to head to the gym and work off some of the stress my face is seeing. (seriously?) Ugh.
And of course because we're friends--
I love* wearing white and bright colors during the summer when I don't look sick I'm tan!
Plus I needed something loose fitting because.. sun toasted skin = ouch*.

so how was the Lauren Weisberger book? I saw it at the store today and was going to buy it but wasn't too sure. I got Memoirs of a Geisha instead.

That sounds like my kind of weekend... minus the water leak of course. And totally agree about wearing bright colors with a tan... I've managed to wear a white shirt every day this week so far!
