loving >> the warm & sunny 80 degree weather we had this weekend in san francisco-- that has continued through this week!!

loving >> my pretty orchid plant that I picked up at Trader Joe's. I love having fresh flowers in the apartment! And this is a small trade off for buying new ones each week.

 loving >> Beach finds! this tote from zara that I'm excited to take with me to Hawaii!

loving >> my new cece ballet flats I ordered! they're on back order-- but with a discount and giftcards I only paid $12 dollars for them!! worth the wait, don't 'cha think?

these are my confessions

these are my confessions.. (who doesn't think of that usher song? part II -of course)

1 >> I may currently have an Usher playlist going on spotify-- because of my blog post title. 8701 anyone? Oh and I may have gone to his concert back in 2001.

2 >> Actually looking forward to work* saturday morning. Yes, a saturday morning 7:15 case nonetheless. 

3  >>  Walked to and from from my apartment from the parking garage space three times this week because I forgot my headset and I love talking on the phone while driving. safety first. 

4  >>  Parked 'illegally' Wednesday morning-- street cleaning signs 9a-11a clearly marked-- and came back to a ticket-free (and lonesome parked) car. thank you parking karma.

5  >>  James & I are trying to not spend any money on food (or shopping) during the week. Honestly? I prefer to cook at home anyways.

6  >>  Realized through our 'hawaii preparations' that I have a lot more self-control that I thought (or even imagined). but I am craaaving thai food.

7 >> I'm so (so so so) indecisive-- I ordered 26 bathing suits from Victoria's Secret. Please tell me you've done this too?

8 >> I would die (rachel zoe style) to be a food network star. a girl can dream.

9 >> We have a fun weekend planned (oysters/drinks in sausalito + napa) with friends in town. I've already started to plan my outfits. Plus-- the weather is suppose to be in the 80's. ahhhmazing.

10 >> I miss picnik -- but I've warmed back up to power point (put that college knowledge (and dollars) to work)

11 >> I looove watching 'the herd' Colin Cowherd in the morning with James while having breakfast and coffee. And Chatsports'ing.

12 >> Have a new favorite real housewife: heather.

13 >> Since moving to San Francisco-- I have been getting really weird anxiety about random things. example one: earthquakes and getting trapped in a. our parking garage b. in a tunnel c. on a bridge 

14 >> My sewing machine? still sitting in the box. oops.

now? I realize there are a few things I should add to my 'to do' list. and thank goodness tomorrow is friday! yay!

time has been flying by lately-- but for some reason this week is dragging a little slower.

I'm loving >> sunshine & shopping

Saturday morning after our ritual long morning walk with Lola we headed south to Palo Alto. 

The weather has been beautiful and I love me some outside mall shopping (who am I kidding? I love any kind of shopping) We (and by we, I mean James-- I shop solo) picked up some new stuff for Hawaii (eek!)

I tweeted out my leopard Bridget's (above) to Shoemint (and my fav yellow pants, if you hadn't noticed). and I thought it was pretty darn exciting when I got a re-tweet. (hello Rachel Bilson, want to be my bestie?)

Later Saturday night we doubled with our friends lauren & matt for cocktails and dinner.

we tried absinthe- which I've been itching to go to.. and I'm glad we did! it was deeeelicious and a super fun atmosphere. 

and to think- i just cut another 4 inches off!

I'm loving >> vacation preparation 

Working out & eating healthy have been top priority over here. I've mixed it up with P90X, running and Jillian Michael DVDs. James and I also been following the '4hour body' eating plan (which is similar to the paleo diet) and doing as much gluten-free as humanly possible. I feel amazing and well I'm seeing the change in my body (and how my clothes fit).

I'll share a post last this week (or so) with the bathing suits and some other fun beach stuff I have together for Hawaii. I seriously can't wait. Gonna start working on a list of things I want to see/do while in Hawaii. suggestions are always welcomed..

This upcoming weekend-- we have some friends in town from Ohio. Excited to spend the day in wine country and I always have fun exploring san francisco! 

Ahh-- let's hope May gets here quick.

san fran had some aaamazing weather this weekend. we spent a majority of it outside. after our morning workout (it was also diet cheat day-- loving saturday cheat days!) we planned on having some pizza and heading for a long walk/hike around the city. of course we got side tracked and headed to an outside restaurant with some friends... it started with 4 and ended with 9. love sunny afternoons with great company!

since the weather was equally as beautiful on sunday- james and I took Lola to a nearby park. being from a town with backyards-- I was surprised to see soooo many people laying outside sunbathing! loooove that I got a little tan and that lola got to run around in the grass!

seriously now- I am obsessed (more emphasis than love) with the hunger games. I have already finished 'the hunger games' and have moved onto 'catching fire' (zipping through it equally as fast!). I'm such a fan of reading and I love it even more when I get sucked into a great read! and now? I can't wait to see the movie!
