I confess this Friday Confessional is letting me off the hook from writing my post about our 48 hour / 4 day cross-country drive from DC to our new home in San Francisco! (I promise I will get to it soon!)
I confess that I have zero blogging motivation. Seriously lacking creativity. -Help?
I confess that I am trying to adjust to the weather change. Pretty sure I need a whole new 'San Francisco wardrobe' ;)
I confess that I hate (looooathe) that there is no Target IN the city (which I am pretty sure James loves + my bank account).
I confess that we saw a sign that announced an arrival of Target in Fall 2012. Woot.Woot.
I confess looking for apartments is sorta fun -- until you realize it's harder then getting a job in the current state of our economy. (no really)
I confess I'm only asking ask for:
large bedroom
walk-in closet
hardwood floors
washer + dryer IN unit
roman tub
high ceilings
outside access
parking space included
prime location to grocery/restaurants
safe neighborhood
pet friendly
dog park in walking distance
.........that's not asking for too much, is it?
I confess that I am asking for too much in my apartment hunt. (hey I know what I like!)
I confess that I can't wait to have our own place. Out of suitcase/boxes living is not for me.
I confess that I love seeing people walking their dogs + running all over the city. love.
I confess that I desperately need a fancy-shmancy camera (apparently my gifts must of got delivered to DC) even more now! The scenery is to-die-for. My iPhone can't compete.
Happy weekend loves!!! Hope everyone has fun plans in store?
I know the mid-west/east coast is still sweltering hot -- Can you pleeease send some of that warm sunshine this way?? (I can't believe I am rocking boots in July!) James and I may head down to LA this weekend for a friend's website launch party, but I'm not quite sure I can bring myself to being in the car for 6.5 hours (and there was no way we were going to spend $300+/per ticket).

There's no Target where I live either. We have to drive an hour away to go to one. I'm sure my Hubby loves the fact there isn't one here and that there are no plans for one anytime in the near future! Boo!
Have a great weekend!
When I get in a blogging rut, I look for new daily memes and also, try to focus on writing things about my past. Find stories I learned from and write 'em out. Happy Friday!
There are all these 30 day challenges you can do, some are photography where you take pictures of yourself and explain 10 things one day...you should google it.
Or something like that.
Good luck on the apartment front...I would want all those things too!!
There is no Target in my town either. It's at least a 45 minute drive to the closest one, and if I want a super Target? Yeah, that's over an hour away in the next state. Shopping Walmart is just not the same.
i confess i have missed you! and glad you are in SAN FRAAAAAN wooop!!
love that pic of you and your pooch
i think a walk-in closet is a necessity!! and a washer-dryer..and parking...and a roman tub. Basically everything you're asking for, i would be asking for too hahah :)
xoxoox
YIKES! THat's a big move!
We're all struggling with blogging motivation. I blame the summer. And for me in my state...I blame the 146 degree weather.
I hope you find what you're looking for in an apt. Apartment hunting is no fun.
Have a great weekend~
I can't imagine not having a Target! I have 2 within 10 miles of me and I still want one closer to the house. Hope you find the apt you are wanting soon. Nothing wrong with knowing what you want... Good luck and enjoyed your confession :)
The picture of SF makes me sooo homesick. I haven't been back in three years and would kill for some good sourdough bread and a burger from In-n-Out.
first of all welcome to California. i love SF, i go often. my in laws live in San Rafael. there is a really nice Target in Navato. if i were looking for an affordable apartment with most or all of the amenities you are looking for i would check in Saulsalito...more options and close to the city.
thanks for linking up!!
Welcome to Cali! You're just a bart ride away from me. Welcome :-) If you need some heat, just hop on bart and go anywhere an hour away and you'll find the sunshine..
What areas are you looking in? I used to live in SF. It's a bustling busy city but way too expensive for my taste. I used to live in a closet and it was more rent than I pay for our house rental! I still love visiting it though. Good luck with your search!
Ahhh, the joys of apartment hunting! Washer and dryer IN the unit, yes please! xoxo
