poshmark

I love discovering new things and sharing them!

Poshmark is my latest find (I was introduced to it really!)

It's an app for your iPhone where you can sell/buy things directly from the app.

Well I-- like probably many of you, looooove to shop. I don't always wear what I buy and when it comes time to spring clean (or move) I always say "maaaybe I'll wear this" (and of course-- I don't)

Well PoshMark lets you sell you items directly. Love it. Snap a picture and poof upload some info and BAM! you're done.

You can DL the app and follow me (@veryashley) and check out some of the stuff I am selling!
Here's a taste of what I've posted. (let me know if you're interested or have any questions too!)

oh monday

Morning loves and happy Monday!

Whew! What a weekend. We had tons on our agenda and a veeeery long to-do list of shopping (can't complain about that!) for the apartment!

Friday morning I got a treat and my west coast bff'er, Ange came up to SF (from LA) with her boyfriend on his companion pass (Uhh, I desperately need one of these --She flies anywhere with him for FREEEEE!!)  We spent the day venturing around Union Square --surprisingly neither of us actually bought anything. (I'm in denial and won't buy sweaters, coats and boots, quite yet). Afterwards we all grabbed a drink at a local bar and they had to go back to LA... I can't wait for more visits!!

Saturday was spent shopping. Since James and I moved coasts with only shipping boxes and what fit in our car --we pretty much have to buy everything! We set out on a mission to get a mattress and TV (you know-- because football season is upon us). Luckily we found some really great deals!! I'll share pictures once we're in our apartment ... on THURSDAY!!!

Lola came along for the day (we wanted to make sure she could jump up onto the new bed). Which by the way-- I am thrilled how dog friendly San Fran really is!! And since shopping can be exhausted-- we got some food at Burger Bar.
James decided it would be a fantastic idea to get the 'world's hottest burger' and they made him sign a waiver.

I, being the obsessive controlling loving girlfriend told him he better be honest if we can't eat it --and don't try. But he finished it --of course. Not to worry we got a pitch Blue Moon to wash it all down with.

I took the traditional Burger Bar route and built my own burger and it was nothing short of delicious! Plus I love their onion rings + zucchini fries. I even surprised myself when I cleaned my plate!

Pretty sure no one knew Lola was sitting next to me in the booth. Such a good pup (who needs a haircut!)

Sunday we ventured back to Costco to pick up our TV and James got some work done at his office. Later in the evening we went for a run around the city. I can't believe my 1st half marathon is only 4 months away. I'm not the fastest runner, but I knew I've been slacking and wanted to challenge myself. We ran for an hour and finished at 6.6 miles. Funny how amazing I felt afterwards. Time to get back on track!!

Hopefully this week flies by-- I can't wait to move into our apartment!!

when stuck at home

Stranded at home (No car today. And public transportation? Ha, no thank you!) Granted I could walk a hundred different places but well then you wouldn't have this blog post :)

This week flew by! --I can't believe it's already Monday! Eeek

As I previously blogged -- on Wednesday night we had friends over for dinner and enjoyed maaaany bottles of wine together!

Thursday night we entertained some more friends with tacos! I made shredded chicken and ground turkey tacos with all the fixings and some gauc (again a lack of pictures, sorry! believe me they were delicious!!)

And later in the evening --we went to my favorite theater -- Kabuki (which is right around from our new place, can't wait until Sept 1st!!) and saw 'The Help'.  The books are always better, but I definitely enjoyed the movie! Loved how they portrayed Celia, she was my faaav!

Friday, James hosted some people who came into town for work. So we ventured out to sushi. And Saturday was spent on a blind girl date --Sorta. I met up with a girl who knows James and his biz partner and got breakfast. I had talked to her a few times over the phone (before I moved to the city) and via texts. So we decided to get together for breakfast + coffee!  Needless to say --we are already planning our next girl date for Thursday! :)

Sunday, we played tourist around the city and I snapped some picture but I won't be sharing because I am pretty sure you're tired of seeing the Golden Gate Bridge via my iPhone. ;)

And all  that 'what I was up to this weekend' nonsense has led to me to the fun part--(if you're still reading, kudos to you!) -- being stuck at home today + this blog post about what I snagged while shopping --via the internet.

I practically drool over everything on ASOS and with a Labor Day trip to wine country coming up and having to convert my wardrobe to be fitting with San Francisco weather (yay to more shopping!)

So here's what I bought today --

Love love loooove blazers. In desperate need of a navy blue one!
navy boyfriend blazer
Can't wait to twirl around in this while in napa/sonoma!
camel midi dress
Love t-bar + block heel --& the price!
nude t-bar shoe
Lack navy in my closet and love pleats. (yes --pleats)
pleated skirt
Have been in search for the perfect trench --this may be it!
trench

I can't wait for the package to arrive. I scored an additional 20% off (EXTRA20) sale items and 10% off (EXTRATEN) my entire purchase! Woot woot!
I hope everything fits and I don't have to send anything back

Had any great online shopping lately???

--now I am on the hunt for 1 more dress for wine country --suggestions?

oxx  pretties! :)
